  1. These last several winters we have been living a real life choose your own adventure book where no matter what option is chosen when you flip to page corresponding to your choice it is rain. Or cold/dry. I don’t even think the snow outcomes exist in the current choose your own adventure book we are reading.
  2. 37 and fog on my drive up to perryville the slower but non-toll way up US 1 for a poker tournament . The rivers and creeks were all running full after yesterday’s rains.
  3. I'm guessing none of the airports recorded anything beyond a trace?
  4. 12/7/23: T (maybe a T on 12/6/23 too but I was not home to see it/verify it) 12.11.23: .8 1/6/24: T (two hours of winter storm watch - yay! - rapidly converted to winter weather advisory - still ok... - then -- a little sleet and snow and a LOT of rain...sigh) Season total - .8 (already four times my snow from last year LOL)
  5. Can I make a circle around DC/Balt/ up to the Mason-dixon line and assume...not there?
  6. Having a hard time cherishing it, Millville...it has been really disappointing for quite a long time now up this way. This is yet another kick in the nethers. Can't even get pity snow to fall just to give the illusion of snow anymore. And I live in the Hereford Zone now. Glad you are feeling better.
  7. Not for nothing, but this genuinely sucks.
  8. The hike was fine. Almost eight miles. It never really snowed. Sleet for awhile and ended in rain. And I was technically over where the winter storm warning was… what a crappy system. I give it an F-.
  9. Mix of sleet and very light snow and rain on hike through a portion of patapsco hike I am on .
  10. What a shocking drive over to my hiking group hike for the day - 7.5 mile planned hike north of 70 off route 29. was 28 when I left monkton - good. was up to 31 by fairgrounds exit off 83 - eh was at 32 where beltway and 83 meet - oh no up to frickin’ 34 on beltway around reisterstown rd and held that with some rain over to 70- YIKES temp dropped a bit on final set of turns to the trailhead - 31 over here. Better? I was REALLY hoping that some of this walk would be in falling snow. I guess I can still hope i suppose. Disheartening start to things tho.
  11. Down to 30 at my spot five miles SE of mappy.
  12. I am forever in the area he is removing from snow maps
  13. I am following the Arkansas updates closely because almost time to start compiling the now annual list of places with more snow than our area on the season...
  14. I am just bathing in the cooling goodness of my first Hereford zone winter storm watch….
  15. And…WHY GOD WHY (with the rest of us mentally saying “Heisey this isn’t even your forum”)
  16. Whoa - 20 degrees for me as well. And…my first winter storm watch since moving to the Hereford zone! Seven miles inside the watch - I will take the hope.
  17. It's cool wxluvr - not specifically giving you the business but it is the posting style of a bunch of people in this thread to take a 10+ day map and say "if we-change-a-few-things-it's-Dubai-in-three-weeks" kinda stuff that's all. It's kinda funny taking the long view. And if you read enough of those posts etc. Peace, friend.
  18. Some of y'alls ability to look at fantasy swirls and posit the WORST POSSIBLE OUTCOME is practically a super-power.
  19. In an absolute second I would take 3-4 inches (of snow)
  20. Similar for me only my two labs lol - just want a snowy walk at some point
  21. Looking like Saturday won’t move the needle much at moving the year off the list just yet. Maybe late January will obsolete this thread for the season.
  22. Random observation - when people write “you don’t want to be in the bullseye five days out” I always mentally reply - “I actually want my house in the middle of the bullseye on every run every time”
