  1. Yep to all of that. It follows a pattern that is six years long now. Synoptically, the systems have just not found a way to get the necessary best lifts to our area for awhile now. Maybe next storm.
  2. Started between 3 and 4 for my area of Monkton in northern Baltimore county (for those who don’t know the area - I am about 10 miles south of PA border and 12 miles or so west of Bel Air) - just measured 1 inch and grass is covered. It is beautiful out and currently light snow. of my two labs, the younger one just happily flopped over into it and rolled in the snow for several minutes. Cute as hell. Gonna take the two pups to the ncr trail to walk in whatever is falling before starting remote work. congrats to the Dc/annapolis and surrounds folk - the rates and all sound gorgeous. You all should definitely fully enjoy it!
  3. Um… Buffalo played a game a year ago in the midst of a blizzard. Regular season.
  4. Me too! Just turned them on for first time since Christmas night - held on hoping that this weekend might be a thing…
  5. Heh. I would like to think curmudgeonly resignation...but...yes, if it goes like that, I will be most uncivil for upcoming threats when people from the repeatedly snowy south claim we always cash in up this way. Six years waiting for a warning level snow and counting. Can we get a legit 5 plus inches here? Sure hope so! Fingers corssed.
  6. Ah, then, yes, much earlier on-set. Evening.
  7. Assuming he’s coming down 95, after midnight, for the 95 portion in Maryland.
  8. And the northern folk say…FINALLY to the euro.
  9. 11/22/24 - T 12/5/24 - T 12/6/24 - T 12/20/24 - .5” 12/24/24 - .1" 1/3/25 - T Season total - 0.6
  10. To be entirely clear, there are a few globals showing an inch up my way. It’s not panic, it’s noting that is in the envelope.
  11. Acceptance. Six years of seeing this play out like this.
  12. Out of curiosity, I presume the ukie is handling the feature over Maine quite differently from the rest of the models?
  13. The euro is disheartening up this way. Just is. congrsts to all the lock it up folk.
  14. That’s bad north of Baltimore. Full stop.
  15. lol. Turned 54 last week and when it comes to snow, it remains aspirational in the run-up… eta - and again, I am in banter - it’s not that serious - just complaining about things I can’t control in the proper thread…
  16. You are ascribing negative emotions to my comments , mappy, that are not there. We all root for the most snow possible, me included. I would really love to see a legit snowstorm - it has been years now is all. It’s so close, really hoping euro is overdoing the confluence and dry air issues up our way, but over the past several years we’ve seen this play out.
  17. Randy - I’ve been around a minute- and I am not a newbie. The euro and ukie have genuinely been disappointing runs up this way - some of that is from whatever falls today and what is left over would again fall short of warning level. If it goes down like that, it is a continuation of a series of misses we’ve had up this way since 2019.
  18. I’m fine - i‘m in banter for a reason. But if we stay dried up and halt around three inches while another foot falls to the south in a version of Jan 3/4, 2022 that’s gonna suck.
