Finally - no complaints on this round - much needed and appreciated steady rain underway in Fallston.

For fuckssake, I am maybe 15 southeast of parkton and we have .35 at the farm for the last 36 hours. What an infuriating set of mostly misses - an inexplicable storm approach fall apart and reform situation Thursday evening and then watching the rain shield refuse to budge for half the day yesterday before delivering light rain for hours. We really need better luck than that the next 48 hours - the fields need way more than that given how dry it was coming into this event. Unfortunately, this AM looks south of Fallston - hoping like hell this PM sends a slug of rain to my part of the area.

Pretty amazing mostly whiff around Fallston last night - storms approached and then somehow reformed around the farm to the east around 5:00 - then lighter rain for a few hours. Wasn’t a shutout but was absolutely frustrating. So far today training achingly close just to the north of Fallston. I hope like hell it sinks south a bit this PM. We really need a sustained amount of rain on the fields at the farm.

The pendulum swings on high temps this spring have been absolute lunacy. There is a range of temps between 60 and 95, is my understanding…or used to be.

That’s a pretty classic last four or more winter events kinda precip shield for our area - just hilarious watching the moisture hit a wall around Baltimore City and not advance north at all

There is a BUZZ for Tupac bobblehead giveaway night at the Yards -people started lining up around noon - the queue at the main gate behind CF is full as of now (2:50 pm)

The flags are pretty stiff blowing out to center and left of center at Camden - looks like a very warm wind afoot from the south. I think it is in the bag for BWI at least.

Hugely lucky to have those two rounds of storms hit the farm in Fallston pretty flush. Really needed that bolt of fortune for the kinds of reasons EJ noted....

My better half and her kids just needed two and a half hours to get through security at BWI - they got in line at 1: 15 and just now cleared. Luckily, they went way early for their 5:30 flight - glad they did.

53 and sun at 11 am in Fallston- feels amazing after the icebox again this week.
