Amazing how no matter how south a storm is they always find a way to hit the same ole lame places where no one lives. I'm starting to think DC snow climo is dead.
From what I've watched go down this winter my money is definitely on the NAM. Whatever model has the worse outcome has been pretty much dead on. The GFS run that basically said that slop from yesterday was a non event got a lot of laughs. Unfortunately it was dead on. I'm fully expecting 35 degree rain and slush this week.
Yup. Just more of the same garbage. I'm expecting mostly rain and slop with this setup. It would be nice to get some actual cold. I don't buy that happening either.
One thing I've learned this winter is when suddenly a model goes off the rails.. Don't laugh. They've been right every time. Congrats PA on a fantastic winter. My goal at this point is to make it half way to climo. I can't take anymore slop. Give me snow or torch this dumpster fire and bring on spring. Sorry for the rant. I've seen one clean storm in 4 years.
It's feels like it's been weeks and weeks of "potential, 8 days away, real cold finally" ect since Christmas with nothing but a 3 day pixie dust slop job out of it. Today was ridiculous smh. Anyway.. back to the shadows.
Heavy white rain here in AA county. I hope everyone in the regular spots enjoy the snow this morning. It always makes me chuckle when people N&W whine about being fringed lol.
Temps near 50 and no cold in sight or did it flip back to cold? I thought I was looking at the wrong 10 day on my point and click. Went from deep winter to spring next week in 24 hours.
