It's been 18 hours since my second shot of freedom juice. I feel totally fine so far. Maybe slightly chilled but that could just be the chilly weather. I'm going to take it easy for today. I'll wait 14 days before I cause a scene at Home Depot for not wearing a mask.
It's been 4 hours since I had my second Moderna jab. So far I just have the typical vaccine in the arm feeling. Cannabis doesn't seem to effect anything either lol
A stretch of cold and damp can change that really fast. Cucumbers especially hate cool damp weather. Fungal issues can develop and cause problems. I like to wait until temps are at least 55 at night. I've had healthy plants suddenly go from healthy to mush from long duration cool damp weather. I've tried everything over the years. I get the big loaded monster plants when I plant later.
I agree but it's the lows in the 40's that make a gardener cringe. I'll take mid 50's for lows and highs near 70 all summer lol. Just get rid of those 40's!
Headed out to the garden to do some watering. I probably won't be as lucky as I was the past 2 years as far as rain goes this year. Looks like it's back to it's normal location along the PA border.
Going for my second shot of Moderna next Friday. 14 days after that I'm going down to OC to find a nice anti masker/vaxer croud and just hang out enjoying my antibodies to the spiked protein.
50-60 mph gust shouldn't cause widespread long duration power outages. 60 mph is right on the line though. Seems like that's the threshold in this area during the warm season for uprooting large trees. Already breezy out there.
I think the forecast for sunny conditions today needs to be changed to cloudy conditions. Looks like thick clouds back to Ohio. I'm ok with not having a sunny 90 degree day anyway.
Looked like it might be a nice day about an hour ago. Now back to chilly, damp, cloudy conditions. I guess I'll go get the jacket back on. 58 and dreary
I'm wondering if the first ones become easy food for hungry birds. Once the big numbers emerge they overwhelm hungry critters. That's part of their strategy for survival.
