I always hear people call this a hobby. I wish it was a hobby for me. It's actually an obsession with weather/nature that I was born with. I would watch the local news when I was 3 so I could see the forecast. In winter it was snow. Summer it was thunderstorms. In between it was whatever weather I could get. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so damn emotionally attached to these weather systems but there's no stopping it. I live for this sh*t.

Honestly that's what I think too. I'd be elated with 6" as long as it isn't nuked by 40 degree rain.

Just wait until that ccb band is 10 miles north of your house where they are getting 18" while you see peaks of sun. That 4-6 followed by rain is fun I guess.

Looks like GFS is king. Like Ji says. Models ALWAYS cave to the garbage solution. By tonight we'll be looking at a slop to rain for most of the area.

I'm surprised the euro hasn't caved to the GFS yet. The GFS is way more believable. Slop thumps to drizzle are way more common then some stalled hecs lol
