    If my memory is correct, Knox County Schools we’re out for two weeks. We had 3-4 snow events during that time frame, and below freezing cold for quite a few consecutive days.

    We are headed to Mt LeConte midweek for a two night stay. I’m ok to hike in the rain, but the thunder boomers can stay away!!! .

    I’m trying to upload a gif from RadarScope but its to big of a file. Looking at relative velocity in the super resolution…..it’s switching back and forth from red to green. Is that an indication of winds swirling in the upper levels?

A southern fairy tale starts with “Y’all ain’t gonna believe this ****!!” All that to say…..our Facebook weather forecasters are already talking about the early March system. Why??? I’m perfectly ok with it being discussed here, because it’s a weather forum made up of people who exercise common and logical sense (and have a good amount of knowledge regarding weather in our area). But the simple word “SNOW” on social media is clickbait and makes IQ’s drop into the single digits and thus starts the endless IMBY questions from all the little Johnny’s who barely have enough common sense to follow the shade around the house!!! Stepping off soap box. Carry on…….

    Anyone having issues with the Tapatalk app? For the last day it won’t open any of the forums/pages. I have updated the app and restarted my phone…..but still the the spinning circle-arrow of impatience persists.

    Funny you say that. About 4-5 days ago our yard was COVERED with Robins. Our dogs were looking at them and back at us with a quizzical WTF look on their faces.
