  1. The new edition of the Euro weeklies think the west based -NAO is gonna be around awhile.
  2. This DFH 120 min IPA seems lonely sitting there in the fridge among the stouts. I'll rectify the situation.
  3. He was a one year starter in college and was a project. Maybe worth a chance in the third round. Only Snyder lol.
  4. Multiple sources reporting it, so that's a yes.
  5. My post was only in response to the discussion of the GEPS depiction for late week/early next week, specifically the post directly above mine. I am pretty optimistic overall about the way things look on the means going forward at this point. The exact SSW impacts shall be interesting to see play out.
  6. Other than at onset for northern areas, the GEPS is a rain event for late week. That high is sliding off the coast as the precip comes in. The wave for early next week is there, and verbatim its a glancing blow mainly for eastern areas, and it might be cold enough for frozen as modeled.
  7. Mt Holly with just a mention of the early next week "potential". For Sunday...An upper-level trough gradually lifts out of the Northeast allowing ridging to arrive from the west. This should result in dry but chilly conditions, however may need to watch trailing southern energy with an offshore surface low.
  8. You seem to have that covered. The CAD deal doesn't interest me in the least here lol. I am still mildly interested in Sun-Mon, although the signal on the GEFS for anything significant/frozen has gotten weaker in recent runs.
  9. If nothing else, hopefully the flooding rain part is dead. It would be ridiculous to have a repeat of Xmas eve again, a week later.
  10. The better h5 looks- esp wrt the PAC- are showing up sooner in time the past few runs. Epic Baffin block with a +PNA and trough progressing east, and not at hour 384!
  11. 0z GFS has a nice little snow event from a trailing wave on the 10th.
  12. Yeah I don't know either. Seems the end result will be very conducive for HL blocking, but at least according to Cohen, until the process completes, the eastern US will be mild- for at least 2 weeks. So I guess he is telling us to close the blinds until the third week of January.
  13. It is scheduled to get underway the first few days in Jan. Check out the Strat geeks on twitter for more info. Judah Cohen seems to be a good place to start, since he is actually Doctor Polar Vortex.
  14. Last hope down the tubes Dude we are going to be set after the SSWE has completed. Just be patient. Our time is coming! Looking like the very end of Jan into Feb could rock. Maybe. If the daughter vortices end up in the right spots. Otherwise, probably not.
  15. Nothing to see on the 18z GEFS either if we are talking about the Jan 3-4 window. Always was a bit of a long shot, but looking less likely on recent runs. Looks to stay mostly to the SE, and even if it does scrape, there isn't much cold air around until after it moves off, so probably just some showers.
  16. They might, but then again they could use a little momentum heading into the playoffs. I bet they start the game with their first string, and then see how it goes.
  17. NFC least lol. Meanwhile, there are eight 10+ win teams in the AFC, and one won't make the playoffs, possibly with 11 wins.
  18. Actually I will root for them next week, in case the Ravens happen to lay an egg. Bengals will play hard.
