  1. Missed the earlier round of showers, but just had a nice heavy downpour. Picked up a quick tenth. Still a few cells to the NW headed in this general direction. Maybe a little more to come.
  2. Gonna be close but no cigar here with the storms moving through. Will pass just to my east.
  3. Throw in a few major volcanic eruptions..
  4. Who cares about a sustained -NAO in June and July.
  5. EPS and GEPS look especially promising for early next week.
  6. Possibly the plane crash report in sw VA was the cause. But perhaps not. Maybe it was an intercept.

  9. Yeah it typically comes out a day earlier. Last month's edition would not have generated any new discourse here though.
  10. Magnificent early June day. 69/45
  11. Most general lawn safe weed killers will do it I think. I leave it alone because it's a good groundcover in combo with the grass (before it goes to hell).
  12. Just did the same thing this morning. So nice out, but the soil is parched.
  13. Tomorrow looks spectacular with temps mostly in the low 70s and dewpoints in the low 40s. Maybe it will rain again around mid month.
  14. A little hope on the latest HRRR for northern Baltimore county. It does look like places west and southwest into the higher terrain have the best shot.
  15. Just maybe we will see something like this in Jan.
  16. High of 88 here. Ready for the cooldown. Bring the low to mid 70s.
  17. Impressive looking cell on radar. 1.5" hail and 60 mph winds.
  18. I just did it too. Despite recently saying I wouldn't.
  19. I can smell the smoke here, and the visibility is notably lower. Hazy closer to the ground than previous days where there was a hazy sky due to the Canadian wildfires. https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/?parms=subregional-Mid_Atlantic-01-24-1-100-1&checked=map&colorbar=undefined
