    Still a long shot though. I’d like to start seeing other guidance more bullish. The euro depiction itself was totally different from 12z and not really hinted by other guidance.

    I mean the city still gets 6" more in South Jersey. This is the low end of guidance so far. Need to get this till like Thursday then we can lock in details

    Its been since the 2017 and 2018 Dec storms since I can remember seeing models so robust for us.

    Nice. I love where we sit right now with heaviest totals in South Central VA. We all know that will end up this way.

    Almost wonder if how the GFS is currently if that is our happy medium where the monster stays south but most still end up with a nice 3-8in snow

    It didn't really. It just sharpened the northern extent. Totals for mid Atlantic went up. Last few runs have notably increased SE ridging, which is good in this instance

    We’re talking snow totals on the GFS/Euro that rival or surpass THE storms especially in Asheville & McDowell.

    Just look at the trend on the GFS. I feel confident sleet will cut into our totals, at least somewhat. However, with the trend towards slower/amplification/the breaking down of the HP, QPF has increased as well. I certainly wouldn't complain about 8" of snow and an inch of sleet on top
