We're seeing the new regime up here already, five inches of snow has fallen today and it looks like another three or more adding on tomorrow. The colder air is filtering in as heights collapse, and the second half of the week looks cold and dry with the fresh snow cover (replacing largely bare ground below my elevation up until Sunday, 5 to 10 inches survived in the alpine).
