  6. I am refusing to look at radar until it is on me. But getting a lot of thunder and my youngest said she looked at radar and there is a lot of lightning.

  8. Haven’t seen any hail but the wind portion of the severe is certainly verifying. Very heavy rains and lots of lightning.

  11. I’ve lived in Maryland 4 years and I swear Frederick gets hit 10x for every one storm I get in North Rockville. I’ve yet to have lightning this calendar year besides some distant rumbles. Looks like more of the same.

  15. The B1 is splitting Waldorf and La Plata right now under 7k feet and descending.
  16. We’ll definitely get some days where it’s much cooler (like early week) because we get fronts coming through but we will go back into above average temperatures. May not be upper 90’s to lower 100’s but will be lots of upper 80’s to lower 90’s days and probably 93-95 in the torch spots
  17. Only 94 here today. It's looking, at the moment anyway, that any storms my way are going to come after 8pm. I wonder how much energy they'll lose after sunset...

  20. If you look at many of the ensembles (Aifs) as an example. They build a WAR along the East coast. It’s not gonna be 100 but looks solidly above normal . I mean it’s back into the 90’s later next week

  22. Ummm no.. you got this week.. Lucky guess? but looks average with some below and some above normal temps
  23. MRB airport temp sensor is still down but the local wunderground sites have been 100+ yesterday and today. currently under a warning for radar-indicated hail and 60mph winds. lots of thunder from 3 directions and lots of lightning.
