Here we go again. Another batch with some heavy rain has just arrived from the south. Before this as of last night’s rains I had just made it to 12” MTD with none due to a tropical cyclone as we know.

It happens to be in an area that is 3 to 5 degrees warmer than everyone else. It's not a sensor problem. Look at me, during the day I equal or beat LGA for highs, northern Queens even in the east where it's suburban is just hotter than other spots that are actually more urban.

And 5 out of 4 would agree with this.

Heat is generally stronger to the north because those places are further away from the moderating effects of the ocean. Manhattan is an island.

I suppose we are due for a colder and snowier stretch, but nothing I have seen or heard seems to argue for their call. On the other hand, I don't see massive torching either.
