We had guests for dinner. I sent them off 40 minutes ago in dry wx. About 25 minutes ago I looked and it was snowing at times pretty hard. Banded but cold and easily accumulating.

Just looked out window and see covered roads. At least a coating here then.

Doug Kammerer said Bethesda / Chevy Chase had some sleet - wondering if upper NW also got into that. We are in Richmond where it was cold but mostly dry (a few sprinkles but that's it).

The cold has been no joke..the real deal. Very nice. And a lot of us will be above average after this storm for December. Not too shabby.

Picking up now. I don’t even know when the last time I had an all snow event lol. Well greater than 1-2” anyways. Hopefully we kick in a ENE jet aloft to bring in some OE bands.
