There’s definitely a rule of thumb with these for early spring. Need the southwest flow to kick in on/before 12z to have clearing well ahead of sunset. You can probably add an hour for May and then again in June. If it happens after like 15z fawgetaboutit.

I work outside…in Minnesota. It’s been an easy spring.

Another near miss with several inches of snow just to my north and 30s and rain for the metro. I’ll happily take the precipitation.

For me it was an A. I had a little over 23 inches of snow for the Fall/Winter Season which is 3 time the average snowfall for my area of Haywood County.

It was mostly advection driven destabilization.

i'll say, for someone who used to work outdoors, this would have been chalked up a good spring in my books.
