  1. Past hour
  2. There are a few localized spots that still suck but they are way down from what they used to be and even the spots that still suck are better than what they were. Overall NO2 in the atmosphere is way down. And we were talking about rural spots anyway, not the Cross Bronx haha
  3. Looks like a legit supercell over Reading right now. It has that shape on reflectivity and there’s some decent rotation with it.
  4. worst july in a long time even though we got a few breaks the relentless heat and humidity was unbearable..
  5. Sterling putting up a special 18z balloon.
  6. I've spent the past several hours putting up a support system for my cannabis plants. It's been brutal as hell. The plants are huge and I'm on a ladder in the blazing sun. Two down, two to go. I'm trying to beat the heavy rains. I don't want these large ladies getting bet up this evening.
  7. Thanks Don, I was wondering how Central Park missed out on it. This could be the event I remember when my area got 4-5 inches of rain and NYC got little or nothing. The storms stalled over our area for 4 hours. We got an inch per hour for 4 hours. Do you have local PNS rainfall totals for this event Don? I remember it happened in the afternoon after a sunny morning.
  8. Radar got busy real quick up here. Can hear the rumbling from the Bel Air storm.
  9. The problem is there are still diesel trucks around. Air pollution shortens life by about 2.5 years even more than tobacco smoking does. There are asthma hot spots in northern Queens and in the Bronx in the highest trafficked areas. Do you know Cancer Alley in Louisiana? They have another one in Oakland.
  10. Yeah, it’s pretty humid out here
  11. Nothing really initiating in N VA yet... a couple showers/storm N of DC metro... Baltimore metro already has numerous storms
  12. the sun coming back out now let's see if we can make a run at 95, it would be my fourth consecutive 95+ day, I don't remember the last time that happened here lol
  13. they still do that omg it smells like charcoal. at least when I've seen it done in the Poconos it happened in Fall and it made me feel warmer during the cold days lol
  14. Now 15z no longer targeting our area, but who the heck knows. Radar certain looks good with lots of action in eastern PA and a few small cells popping up in Hunterdon County.
  15. yes the sun is coming back out again it's not that different from yesterday lol what happened to that front?
  16. Feeling lucky here with temps staying in the low-mid 80s in Allentown. Looks like the cutoff between heat and humidity and more comfortable weather is just south of the Lehigh/Northampton and Bucks/Montgomery lines. The storms should drop it down to the 70s which is hopefully where they’ll stay.
  17. We’d fight less and pass beer and gummies around in our virtual bonfires.
  18. We are way down on NO2 pollution compared to the 90s and before. Cars are a million times cleaner now.
