  1. Past hour
  2. Seems just like last year. Just stopped raining once Augdewst hit . And that lasted all autumn with fires
  3. hopefully no more 90 degree days for the city until next year..
  4. Stein is not closing any damn pools. "As a matter of fact, some of the immediate beaches of the North Shore and down into Boston could stay under 70 all day. This is rather cool for this time of the year. When you add in the fact that dew points will be falling into the 50s and even some 40s, there could be a slight chill when you get out of the water."
  5. I'll hitch a ride in the back of your model-t .
  6. That complex that was moving SE from Lancaster, PA. is now turned more Southerly and dropping almost due South. It is now warned for the extreme Northern part of the Chessy and the Elk Neck State Park and other areas in the Northeast part of the Eastern Shore,
  7. For sure. The switch just dims things. Less extended high temperatures. Possible but not probably .
  8. I had 92 on my car thermometer coming back from golf. Although highway temperatures are always higher.
  9. It’s not like a switch flips. We will get heat into Sept. October sometimes has toasty days. Or snow…
  10. Car thermo hit 89 here in the Hubb but my home unit and a local PWS online only hit 86. muggy.
  11. You know it's over when AHATT starts back-pedaling faster than a circus monkey.
  12. Definitely needed the rain here. I’m expecting 0.5”+ from that. Looks like Moco is in line next. Will be interesting to see if it holds.
  13. nothing. the storm line fell apart at the county line and now has sprung up at the VA state line. unbelievable. I don't think it's rained since I had new landscaping put in on the 5th. time to fire up the soaker hose again.
  14. Yeah the part coming through here is pretty week. Mainly just rain and I can hear thunder off to the W, which looking at radar makes sense as Jefferson looks to be getting hit. The stuff in Jefferson and Walkersville looks pretty intense. Will take all the rain I can get though no matter how light.
  15. Erin’s ACE is already up to 14 with lots more potential to add. With 3 more days of MH status being forecasted followed by two days of cat 2-1, a total ACE of 35 for Erin, alone, is doable! If Erin gets to 35, the season total would be ~39, which likely would get 2025 at least into the top 15 since 1951 as of August 22nd.
  16. Think I caught a wind core here. It’s coming down. Very little T&L though
  17. Oh yea, this line means business…looks like a hurricane outside rn.
  18. Is it just me or is there some shear going on in the NW quadrant? https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/sat/satlooper.php?region=05L&product=ir
  19. Tail end of that line coming through just now. Mainly rain and some wind.
  20. Desperately need some rain. I’m gonna write a sequel to Grapes of Wrath if this keeps up.
