Next weekend looks warm to hot. It’s torched aloft…caveat will be sun. May be another weekend where CNE/NNE does bigger anomalies.

I won’t really consider it back broken until later in September when we finally get cooler weather. 75 to 80 is still summer to me and we totally have that in September especially now that it’s torched.

No, that I’m not predicting, but this last week and this weekend it worked out pretty good from a while back. Scooter knows.

It certainly seems that summers back is broken after the sun goes down today. There will be some more 90 degree days ahead and more days with >65 dews but the staying power of those are certainly fleeting

Climo's begun the slow decent ... At some point ... January is still going to happen whether summer wants it to or not. It's just a matter of how the speed bumps orient between now and then. those that want that to happen will exaggerate the progress right away. those that don't will ignore the signs as being any kind of descent. somewhere in between reality resides. That means it can still be 100 for a couple or three weeks, but getting lesser possible with time. It also means there can be a cooler air masses with mirror increasing probabilities with time.

Erin looks like it’s definitely going to be a mess for the OBX. It won’t be anything they aren’t used to, but it looks more and more likely that they’ll feel a big push of water + TS winds. What a crazy system. It’s always fascinating to see these MDR systems go from tight compact, Charley-like cores to large real estate systems in just a few days. Weather is cool.

BN temps return 8/10 that worked out well. Only had record breaking heat in parts of the NE and 85-90 elsewhere.

Saturday seems that way. Sunday could be if there is not much in the way of rainfall. If it’s not 88 it’s probably 83-85 anyways with some dews.
