  11. Been watching the models and CPC now jumping on the near to slightly below normal in the long range. Like that.. let's see how it pans out. Not of a war going on but it does seem to favor us in cooler than average after the middle of next week.

But as the researchers note, it takes only one storm near a community to make it an active season there. CSU’s updated full season forecast calls for nine named storms, including four hurricanes and one major hurricane. Two named storms, Arthur and Bertha, have already formed, and neither became a hurricane. For the remainder of the season, CSU forecasts seven additional named storms, four of which are expected to become hurricanes, including one major hurricane.
