From reaching a high of 84ºF yesterday afternoon to 37ºF and wet snowflakes today. And about 0.8” of rain in between. 3.44” for the month now which is already the wettest month in quite awhile. -

Temp down to 43 in Maytown. Was 59 at midnight. Still some upper 60s to around 70 degree readings in northern VA. -

38 in my backyard. 31 to 33 depending on station in Hazleton. -
That one had a reprise during the final third of March, before going for good. Some people are probably holding out hope we get one final cold shot, and even a little snow, like that one. But it just doesn't feel like it's going to come. This feels more like 2009-10, which wrapped up in late February, and never really looked back.

Central Park has had only 3 Aprils this century and 2 with 1"+ (4.0", 2003; 5.5", 2018). That would be 12% measurable, 8%. Extended to the most recent 50 years, it's 7 meas., 4 with 1"+ including the 1982 blizzard. The site's first 100 years (1869-70 thru 1968-69) had lots more - 32 meas., 23 with 1"+.
