The times I’ve seen the models correctly predict the exact amount of snow, ice, sleet I’m going to get is almost null. They can guess the general area of the screw zone sometimes, but I’ve never seen them get it exactly right.

Nothing is melting here Scott ….I don’t know what to tell you? It’s the dead/or the heart of winter right now, and it’s frigid out. Did a quarter inch sublimate…I guess it could have, but you certainly wouldn’t know it. In fact I was marveling at the freshness of the pack here today.
