  1. Past hour
  2. The big huge cutter in Mid December…tons of rain and 60 degrees here…that was the last/only one.
  3. Maybe here- And here- As @frd posted, the WPO is tanking, plus the Polar Vortex is on our side, as advertised. Need to time something and hope its not just cold chasing a storm that tracks to our NW. Intriguing at the very least.
  4. Yea, this event is trying to pull a blizzard on me and slide southward.
  5. These are undoubtedly tethered together.
  6. Crazy we have made it to much without one of those lethal, high-end cutters that delivers high dews...closest thing was probably the mid January thaw.
  7. The ground has pretty deep cold too in shaded spots.
  8. Some guidance had dews well into the 40s today, but I saw lots of 20s and low 30s glancing at the sfc plot this afternoon...so yeah, prob the main reason the shade didn't melt much of anything today.
  9. Yea, I noticed the same picking up my daughter...must have been low dews.
  10. Same thing at school today…driveway in the shade was still all ice at 3:30. Impressive. Thought too it would melt especially at 57-58 degrees..but nope.
  11. End of run Euro was gearing up for something good. If we know anything, it's to trust a model 360 hours out.
  12. 77.8 today, spring in full swing. Trees blooming
  13. Congrats BOS on borderline warning snowfall on 18z Euro.
  14. Euro Weeklies slightly less cold 3/16-22 than yesterday. That’s the only full chillyish week just like on yesterday’s run. So, no this isn’t in any way resembling a long period of cold for the E US although I’ll take whatever reprieve from the warmth that I can get!
  15. Go ahead and make those reservations
  16. I’m going to say the BOX p/c is incorrect. Greenfield is currently under a WWA with no precipitation forecast for tomorrow night.
  17. Hopefully all this smoke goes north into Canada as payback for all the past summers of smoky skies lol.
  18. Oh bummer, I preferred it not a typo, I LOL’d. Carry on…
  19. The clearing never worked down much south beyond i-80 EWR: 47 / 37 (+3) NYC: 49 / 35 (+3)
  20. is there a thread ... ? narrow stripe of low end warning snow overnight into Friday morning, underbellied by .45" accretion ice.
  21. The cold was relentless...there was a 10 day break in early Jan but that was it.
