Total July to date : 3.6" Not too shabby but Falls River (err, Falls Lake) has a long way to go. Another 1.6" last night. 5 hour power outage thrown in for fun. 5.2" month to date after an above average June. The darn trees will start falling out of the ground due to saturated soils. The ephemeral streams in our neighborhood have returned. They're running for a few hours after the precipitation stops. The watershed is back doing its thing.

yotaman
Saw the temp rise to 95, down to 86 thanks to the anvil of a storm north of us. Back to 92 in the sun, then the storms finally moved in. Thankfully got the front yard mowed before it hit. Heavy rain and at .65" so far.
GaWx
It’s still an oppressive 97.3 at my place with mostly sunny skies. I don’t know what the high was but my guess would be ~99 (about the hottest of the year so far) and HI’s way up there.

Would’ve been photogenic @eyewall We were on the edge of the storm enough that it stayed really bright, which just made it clear just how insanely windy it was. We also got a nice burst of hail. marsman
Wound up with .19". Some possible rotation around Cary Crossroads. Wind was decent too. mPING reported hail reported in the area. Down to 77/81. edit: this time of day should produce some nice rainbows.

Got fringed by storm just a few hundredths of an inch but it’s been an excellent one to watch go by. Power outages showing up around Cary. Probably a microburst in that area based on mPING reports
