I have all my shades drawn locked in my ice cold basement for now. Have not seen one ppl truck, borough truck, tree removal or
Anything that gives me any hope here

I’d assume the warning was for urban runoff

That's a good question. I guess maybe it takes a few days for rivers to start responding to runoff? I know that the Susquehanna here in Marietta doesn't reach its crest until several days after rain has ended.

A flash flood watch is way different than a river flood watch

Bright overcast (no sun) all day here in both Allentown and Tamaqua. The humidity is awful though.

Right. My point was, whether it's a flash flood or just multiple days of moderate rainfall, it takes time for larger rivers to respond.

We had several hours of bright sun but it's now clouded over.

Here in Carlisle at 2:30pm...the temperature has risen quickly to a high so far of 90.9 degrees with a dew point of 75.0 degrees.  For the fourth consecutive day the heat index has risen to above 100 degrees at 102.0.  It has been at least partly to mostly sunny here for the past few hours after remaining overcast for most of the entire morning.

While I am fortunate to not have lost power, I did lose internet (via Comcast) last night around 8:00pm, and it's still out.  I'm tethered to my phone for providing temporary internet through T-Mobile.

We are back home from western PA. Caught the tail end of some storms between Somerset and Bedford but otherwise was smooth sailing. I have .37” in the gauge from the weekend storms. No signs of any damage in our neighborhood.

The tree damage in the area blows 2009  away. There's not even any comparison to be had.

Reevaluating, my thought, I guess it would depend on how  you look at , if you're just talking about the few streets in Harrisburg that got hit by a tornado in 2009 then, sure.

The power outage numbers over here have not so much as moved an inch all day. I've never seen it this bad. Hotels are charging $150-$300 a night. It's ridiculous

I know brother. I don't just base what I say off phone calls from family,  internet stories, or just the view out my window.  I actually go out and put in my own work and see for myself. It's definitely a unprecedented scale.

Low level lapse rates and  cape are juicing up nicely. The mid and upper levels haven't caught up to where they were yesterday, at this time . However, Northwestern PA is close to having very subtle overlap of both 3km cape and surface vorticity .

This is a lightning map from our storm yesterday. This really exemplifies  how poor the LDN can be at times. It looks to me like it probably picked up less than 10% of the strikes yesterday in our area.
