Chester County borders Lancaster, which is included in our "poster coverage area." It's also closer to central PA than where a few others in our sub are from. (And they are welcome here as well)

I don't understand why people get so upset over location. It's a weather forum. Interestingly, everything that Paul posts is 100% weather content. No reason at all why that shouldn't be welcome here. 

If this is the culture we're trying to create here, I seriously need to just post in the sports threads. This thread is becoming increasingly insufferable.

You have made some good points.  If I’m in the minority with my opinion- I stand corrected. I just personally find that discussion misplaced and really down in the weeds.  I’m not a mod so I’ll stand down. Carry on.

It's okay and my vent was in response to many and not just you. People think he has an agenda and I won't speak to that. I will say that I trust his data because I see it for myself when I'm driving through his area. The microclimate is absolutely real. And it's totally ridiculous when people hundreds of miles away attack him. They make themselves look silly because they're wrong. At least in regards to temps.

Things are starting to get interesting with regard to storms. Looks like some good cells are popping from Williamsport to Bloomsburg moving southeast.

If you look close you can see a formation of the famous Tamaqua split!

I was a little skeptical of hitting a 100 here, after 1.85 rainfall last week. But I was wrong on that. 101 the last 2 days here.

Harrisburg did set a record max low overnight (81). Second warmest low ever (record is 83 in 1900).

Just found out New Ringgold, southwest of Tamaqua got hit hard as well. Saw a photo as well as verified reports of a building collapse. Pic looked like it was a house.

This snowflake just wrapped up day three of mulching in 100+  degree heat. Now  about to head home, throw my catfish gear and bait in my  truck and heading on down to lake Aldred to catch me some monster flatties on this old school true summer night. Living the snowflake lifestyle this weekend and loving it.
