I'm about 2.5 miles south of the border.  It was a tough storm to measure for sure but I did my best. According to the map from JD, Suffield reported 8.8, BDL reported 11.8, which was surprising, and Somers reported 11.8, which also suprised me, although Somers has some pretty high elevations on the eastern side. Either way,  it was a run of the mill event here besides the wind.  It was frustrating for sure sucking exhaust for most of the daylight hours.

East Windsor didn't do well either.

I see another report from Enfield of 7.9" from a trained spotter I believe not included in the Box PNS.  I could have been a bit high due to my fenced in yard and drifts. If 8" is more accurate I'm fine with that as well.  Either way it sucked. And it sure as heck wasn't the 11.8 that BDL put up,  but they are 10 miles away from me as the crow flies.

Went to work today in southwest Enfield, and it looked like less than what I got.

Weird distribution in such a small area for sure.

wonder if the accordion man is still jamming a yard stick in the deep trenches of Warwick tonight

Was thinking that about that this morning when I noticed it.

Never would even think of doing something that neurotic! LOL!!

Not that itll prove anything when you have that much snow there is significant compaction + melting a day later. Not to mention airports taking 6 hrly/clearing, the depth after is going to be way different those measurements...i.e. lower.

How the guy at the PVD airport Couldn’t go out when the final band left with this once in a 200 year storm is beyond me.  They definitely had another 0.2-0.5 post-7pm.  Took them to the very end to be their usual disappointment, but they did it.

I’ll be down there today to check out totals.

@The 4 Seasons, not sure if I told you, but couple friends in Warren and Goshen both measured, 13" and 14.7" respectively, I see a 6" total that looks like it's about Northfield area, and I can say personally I saw way more than that unless they forgot to update, but it's out of place, and mine is 15.2" not sure who recorded the 15.6, but like I said, I'll take the extra stat pad. Couple of coaches I know in New Milford were both over 19" but map already shows it. just an update for the archives.

That 21" in Andover looks little high/suspect. Here in Wilmington there was about 13"-14" (according to my best measurements) Wakefield had about 18" and the other spotter down Wilmington Road near Pinehurst had 15.2".

its getting tossed, i have no idea why they included it. Nothing around it supports that kind of amount.

Could just be a mis-entry

In case you didn’t see from the other thread

Thank you, i have a question there is a Sherman 1.2E that came in with 22" and a 4N New Fairfield that has 21" on the interactive map. I am assuming the 4N New Fairfield is you? Are you also the Sherman one in cocorahs or is that someone different? They are very close to each other and often can be labeled differently on different reporting systems. I'm going to assume they are not the same until i hear otherwise. thanks.
