I’m at 3.7” of snow/sleet for the year, so more snow days than inches of snow received. There will be no surprise if they cancel school, again, tomorrow. This is putting a lot of strain on my wife and I’s jobs
NorthHillsWx
I still think there is a decent jackpot somewhere within the banding this evening, likely from the I-40 corridor to SE Virginia. Most hi res modeling shows this to some degree and I think there’s a chance it might be under modeled as it will be localized. Think most areas see flurries but accumulating snow will be limited to wherever the band/bands set up. Would not surprise me at all to see some 3” reports tomorrow morning anywhere in that area

My gut is somewhere between Raleigh/Rocky Mount/Greenville will do well as well as the northern foothills. Hires models this morning have trended in that direction as well
olafminesaw
We are relying on lift from the WAA to wring moisture out after the frontal passage. Since our system remains weak, it only will produce light precip
