looks decent at this range, at least there is something in striking distance, and there may be some cold airmass to deal with...i thought I saw someone mention 2017 before, and that 16-17 season was huge and quite back ended here, got 50+" from this date on with two big ones in there...but I do remember that as soon as the pack was eliminated, we got a good stretch, then repeat, wasn't a good year for pack, but total snowfall was good.

I’d also say you can prob add a few degrees to those coldest days. Over the last like 10 days, we’ve been beating forecast highs pretty consistently with sun

It’s been on par. This time of year sensors get sun contamination.

Perfect snow lovers temps. Freeze up then play in the snow under bluebird sky. 2 refreshers. Snowy runs

Feels much warmer than it is. Clock is really ticking on winter in the bay, it gets pretty hard for it to snow in March here.

The drifting from this last storm was impressive.  The cemetery where I have made my cross country ski track is full of four foot drifts, and they're still moving.

Absolutely fantastic winter for fun in the snow.  Weeks of pack for skiing after years of not cracking double digits and I think I've got a week to go.

Not talking window watching . Talking about skiers sledders skaters kids building tunnels etc. Beautiful times to play in fresh snow

Hasn't been great for pond ice though. Too much snow and wind.

I go out in it too, still could be cooler. To be honest, I’m more focused after the moderation right now. Monday looks like a massive questionmark.

Shovel it off..plenty of ice everywhere this year.

The pond near us has the texture of corrugated roofing. Given I like cross country skiing just as much, and can do it in the uncleared parts, it's a tough ask. Pond hockey enthusiasts are making do. As cold as it has been, nobody has sprung for a Zamboni.

2/16 is kind of a mess on guidance....I'm hedging that something will go wrong on that one, but I do think if it gets near the BM, it will be a good event for most. Cold has been undermodeled and even a degree or 2 will make a good difference for the CP.
