IrishRob17 Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM Happy New Year to all of us that live out yonder! Have had flurries and light snow all evening, not much new on the ground but that line to the NW looks interesting.

gravitylover Posted yesterday at 01:24 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:24 PM It snowed lightly for hours. The squall line was cool, like a snow globe with all sorts of flakes types and sizes swirling and tumbling. It was cool to stand in for a few minutes. About a half inch accumulated.

CPcantmeasuresnow
0.6 inches here, 17.8 inches now for the season, and 27 days after today with snow cover. 20.8° and feels great.
IrishRob17
Don't underestimate the drifts that .5 on top of a glacier can cause in this wind, so good ones out here along 416.
gravitylover
That was a peaceful snow while it was falling last night. I had to get up and go outside for a few minutes. Even though it's only .2, with no wind and yesterday's no-melt most of the pepper on the old snow is covered. I leave a lot of plants after they go to seed and the variety of birds appreciating it this year is fantastic
