The boards did exist then, though I can't recall if it was the old board EasternUSWeather then or not. That storm was what made the detour sign legendary. . It worked again for this one!

You are right on the locals being way off. As I recall Dennis Bowman went 6-12 (I remember thinking he wanted to go higher but had pressure to not based on how he was talking about it) but the others all under played it.

Lots of sleet signatures down in Greene County, WV panhandle.  Hopefully that northern progression ceases.  Our snow growth has clearly diminished for now.  Pixie dust.

Keeps running into a wall in Washington county. I'd only get concerned if that pattern suddenly started to change.

Officially 8.4" as of 1:09pm.  Thought it'd be more.  Said the liquid equivalent is .7", so 12:1 ratios, definitely not the 15:1 plus sometimes thrown around.

The higher ratios are happening further to the north. Reports in Youngstown already around a foot. They are getting much better ratios, but we are getting better rates down here. Will all come out in the wash.
