Wonder why the big changes on the west side of the forecast area? Pretty sure I've seen reports of around 2 inches already in Murphy.

That would be additional from 7am on. I don’t think that 2 for Franklin is gonna verify for Franklin. Probably have a 1/2” since 7 and it’s still dumping. Most short range models paint an additional 3-6” for WNC and I don’t think there picking up on the low level rates that we’re getting even.

Sitting at 6 inches this morning outside of Gatlinburg. It’s coming down good. Think we will make a run at a foot today. NWS saying 4-8 more today.

This storm is cranking. Snow almost to Southern Alabama. That was on none of the models if I remember correctly.

18.1 here, but I am amazed how big the flakes are.

Temp down to 14 now. Steady snow and I've noticed the wind is picking up.
