" Yes, smoke in the atmosphere can have a cooling effect by blocking and reflecting sunlight back into space. This is similar to how clouds can lower temperatures. Wildfire smoke, in particular, can have a temporary cooling effect on local and even global temperatures.

pretty sure the smoke cost AN yesterday and probably a normal at least west of the city today.    

ACATT kind of got lucky here.   

... does that mean 'all cold all the time'  ?   I have trouble keeping up with the acronyms around here -

They don’t . At all. Look at every other station in town . I’ll even help . Here are 2. One is Grahaber Rd on Ellington line.. and other is Morgan Lane up towards Stafford 

. This is great high dew area of state

Every single station i click on shows 65 or lower in Tolland..
