Thanks, we will see what the house brings. Looked at one in the adams area this week and was rather meh.

Good luck! I’m glad you’re staying in the area. Lowville is like smelling a great meal but not being allowed to taste it.
I was driving down the hill from Brantingham and you can easily see the valley and the wind turbines on the tug.
My favorite area might be Ava. Or West Turin, West Branch. Sounds like you’re looking really close to Altmar, which is where Wolfie lived.

Late next week into the weekend, models continue to trend toward an
increasingly amplified pattern across the CONUS as a highly
amplified ridge builds over the West, while multiple upper level
shortwaves are predicted to dig southeastward from central Canada
toward the northeastern U.S. eventually carving out a large trough
over the eastern third of the U.S.

Main upper low pulls northeast into central Quebec and elongates
before eventually shearing out all together. Meanwhile several
pieces of potent mid level shortwave energy will dive southeastward
out of central Canada, not only maintaining, but helping to dig the
eastern U.S. trough further south and keeping the chances for rain
and snow in the forecast for the remainder of the period. At the
surface, a series of cold fronts will cross the lower Great Lakes
during this time, with models in fairly good agreement on a final
cold FROPA sometime around Saturday night/early Sunday delivering a
shot of very cold arctic air for by March standards, with it
possibly feeling downright wintry around here by the second half of
the weekend.

Thanks, yea I’ll be somewhere around here. Either around cuse or up in north country close to i81. Would like to stay close to my current job but wherever I find a good house that’s where I’ll go. Two houses this weekend were a no go.

Good luck man. Come closer to here so you can help to “reverse the curse…”

I think we're all making the curse worse... Syrmax came from CT, wolfie from NJ, sferic from Long Island, Freak from NYC (I think), I think champy's from somewhere down there. We've all destroyed winter here...My arrival was the nuke to winter.

April is always the cruelest month around here.

Go visit Washington DC or environs in April and you really see it.

It’s actual spring there.  Flowers, budding trees, green grass and warm sun on your back.

It’s not that far away but the difference in spring weather is tremendous.

12z models not really showing anything"big" but they do show some snow showers this weekend..The Canadian is more aggressive wrt precipitation and temps compared to the GFS.. After that it's even more of a crapshoot..
