@TimB84, the end of the GFS is truly an aberration as it pertains to what weather should be.   Its super fantasy land though.   Not really close to any high records as MDT has done Mid 80's in November before,  but still warm.

Give me the quick rundown. Are we talking 65 or 80?

Before you get too upset, I present to you the high temps in 1998.  DECEMBER 1998.  It can always be worse plus it is super fantasy land.  As I said before, I have lots of memory's of sweating in my Halloween Captain America or He-Man Mask.

Took notice this morning that it was 8:12 till the the sun rise. That's the non benefit of living along the mountain. Till the shortest days I won't see the sun rise to close till 9:00am. And people wonder why I love summer.

You are practically the Alaska of PA being dark so late into the day.  LOL.

In the shortest days, the sun will disappear around 3:00-3:30pm

My dad was stationed north of Fairbanks up near Yukon. Sun would set up there just after 2pm.

Edit: I misread your post/intent, for that I apologize. I thought you were referring to Alaska...you were saying when the sun disappears where YOU live. Sorry!
