South Carolina...

Peaches - " Farmers are hopeful to have ten to fifteen percent of their usual crop. Peach-lovers can still expect to see local peaches in July and August in limited quantities. Statewide, strawberries have experienced about a fifteen percent loss. Midland and Upstate blueberry farmers are reporting significant loss, similar to that of peaches. Information is still being gathered from blueberry farms in the lower part of the state. "

Yeah, it was bad! All the dead foliage on all trees looks as bad as April 2007! There are early, mid, and late season peaches, so some of the later and mid season varieties, will give us some peaches.

Picked up 0.51 inch of rainfall today. Not too shabby.

Actually ended up with 0.67 yesterday and then another 0.18 after midnight. Good numbers!

The rain keeps coming. I got another 0.32 inch of rainfall since midnight. Some storms with very intense lightning and thunder rolled through around 2:00 AM. The house seemed to shake with the reverberations.

.97" last night puts me at 4.84" so far for March and close to 15" for the year so far.  I've noticed that some of ponds are still low from last fall so we need things to pan out as wet as they look to get them back up before summer.

Yes sir.  Despite fairly decent rains this year water levels are still very low.  That drought we just came out of was a wicked pissah.

Hit 43 for the low last night currently sitting at 46 a full 10 degrees colder than the central/western parts of NC.....wedge flow from the NE and no clouds helped us out a lot.
