Power of the cold lake this time of year!

My forecast nearer to the shore:

Today Mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 46 by 4pm. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

And 20 miles inland on the other side of the county:

Today A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

A lake breeze front!

Yes please.  enough upper 70's & mid-80's for me.

THE 13Z HRRR AND 12Z NAM AND REGIONAL CANADIAN MODELS ARE STILL   ADVERTISING THIS COLD FRONT CHARACTERIZED BY NNE GUSTY WINDS RACING   DOWN THE LAKE...SOMETIMES CALLED A PNEUMONIA FRONT...TO OCCUR EITHER   LATE AFTERNOON OR EARLY THIS EVENING. THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY   ABOUT WHETHER LOW CLOUDS WILL DEVELOP WITH THE FRONT OR NOT. THERE   ARE NO SIGNS OF LOW CLOUDS AT THIS TIME.

He's just trying to be nice about it, it wasn't the worst as the HI was kept in check most of the summer, but dry heat is just as annoying as humid conditions imo.

Yeah unless it's Las Vegas style dry heat its just as annoying as any.   Most of August and Sept were fabulous though.
