Hoar_Frost
Down to 67 here early this morning and up to 75 now. Skies are currently partly cloudy (patchy altocumulus).
daddylonglegs
Dropped to 58F but only shortly...Sparta was 50F I was outside and was spraying my thermometer with the hose...looks like the well water here is still around 51F...which seems pretty chilly. I wonder if the lack of rain is keeping ground water temps cooler? Not sure...

Brewers
This is a perfect July day. Currently 78 with a nice little lake breeze and low humidity. Too bad the rest of the summer can't be like this

Too bad the rest of the summer can't be like this I agree, I was hoping we'd have at least one July day with a high in the 70s, looks like we're off the schneid. Jonger
The warm March has dried out and warmed up this section of north America... Until some good rain systems move through the country, or cloudy weather, these hot spells will just keep training over us. Sent from my phone, please excuse my grammar! Hoar_Frost
Looks like the high was 85 here today. Not bad for a generally cloudy day and even amidst a modest cold-air-advection regime. I fully expect low to even mid 90's here tomorrow under sunnier skies. Also, I'm not sold on rain prospects being advertised for this weekend, especially out my way. Hoosier
91/48 here. Been a while since I can remember a summer with so many big dewpoint depression days.
cyclone77
Much cooler day here today. Only 85 with quite a bit of cloudiness. Also picked up 0.16" of rain from an unexpected early morning shower. Grass looks a tad greener. Everytime we start to really dry up here we get lucky and get at least a light shower and it greens back up a bit. Geos
Finally managed a below normal day. High 79°, low 63° so far. Very little green grass here - in shaded areas or watered lawns only!
daddylonglegs
Low dew points just make it worse. Throw in a little wind and its game over for vegetation.
Geos
Cooling off really quick tonight - already 65° with dewpoints in the upper 40s. 50s definitely on the table for tonight. @ DLL: Luckily it hasn't been very windy with the heat lately. Otherwise things would look a lot worse. Not what we need now with these brush fires cropping up.
cyclone77
Absolutely fantastic evening out there. Upper 60s already with very low humidity. Great night to open up the windows and let the cool/dry air blow in. Apparently the first half of 2012 is officially the all time 2nd warmest in the QC. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=dvn&storyid=85255&source=

Geos
Another "coolish" day here. High 82°, low 56° this morning. Yeah dewpoints closer to the lake are staying up higher, but still at comfortable levels. No 90°'s forecast until Sunday now.
turtlehurricane
Enjoy the low Tds while you can, large scale moisture advection will take over within 2 days and bring them up to about 70. Best thing is ACs work great with such low Tds despite the temperature.
michsnowfreak
Gorgeous day today. Low 60, high 85, very low humidity, not a cloud in the sky. First below normal day in 2 weeks, even though the high was actually 1F above normal (the high was 1F below normal on Monday but the mean on the day was still above).
