Santa Clause
I'd guess we gusted to 30ish looked WAY worse on radar than it was. Looks like a few discretes out west, but if you're north of 322 it looks like you're night is done with lines/ or any serious thunderstorms. Blizzard92
Radar reflectivity returns are waning a bit for the bowing line as it moves southeast of State College; looks a bit less impressive than it did a hour ago despite going through an even more unstable environment. JamieOber
I'd put this storm on par with one we had in early June, but not as good as the one during Memorial Day weekend. It gusted to maybe 40mph here a few times, then mostly calmed down. Lots of lightning though, a few strikes within a quarter mile. Check out the scanner - was going nuts. Calmed down some http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?action=wp&feedId=1363

Calmed down some http://www.radiorefe...=wp&feedId=1363 Mallow just texted me and said the winds were crazy in Lemont and there are large branches down near his apartment in State College. I should have known better than to stay down in the weather hole that is Bellefonte.

runupthescore
That discrete cell with rotation is moving right towards Hazleton. Yeeeah. I just had to call my parents and tell them to get in the basement. Storm should be there right now according to the tornado warning.

Santa Clause
No damage to report in South Williamsport, a few trees down in Williamsport, but pretty scattered. Also, take into account radar looked as bad as it possibly could over us. That's the update from Billtown.

canderson
Radar very impressive in Perry County, looks like the major stringest cells could potentially miss Harrisburg proper a bit to the north. If you are up near Halifax to Tower City though it's making a beeline for you.
NortheastPAWx
Still very vivid lightning. Temp plummeted from 88 to 70.
canderson
Looks like the mountains have almost split the line at the Perry/northern Dauphin border.
Storm Clouds
The line looks rather weak now since it went over the mountains, but parameters are so high in York, Daulphin and Lancaster counties...shouldn't they strengthen?
pawatch
I was sitting out watching the storm come in. Not a bird in sight anywhere, "kind of eerie" Storm moved in FAST and it was awesome watching how fast the clouds were moving. Had some steady winds....NWS reporting gust 59mph. Still raining but picked 0.75" of rain when the storm wave came through.
