Wow what a difference...

.60" since the start of the event here..

Picked up .18" since midnight

We had a few heavy cells move through in the evening which put me over 1" for the day, the weather station even said "It's raining cats and dogs" at one point :)

I had over .30 for today when I left the house this morning. I would guess that I'm under 1.50" but closer to that than 1.00". I'm not sure what the deal is with the reporting station at KMGJ as it appears to be off lately especially with the rain totals. My Davis station and my basic rain gauge are always pretty darn close to each other so I know my totals are good.

That makes sense, seems like the most action will be just north of Orange County.

Looks like we are right on the edge.. I can still see some strong to severe storms in the area though

I would say anyone from Monticello to Kingston to Albany is in for some fun later on this afternoon..

Storms incoming, winds picked up quite a bit, gust to 29 on thd hand held Kestrel. In up by thd lodge for those familiar with Thomas Bull Park in Montgomery

Gust front came thru here about 10 minutes befor the first drop, never a good sign. Hardly any rain or lightning with round one.

Aside from some decent gusts in front of the line that was rather disappointing IMBY, even the rain has been lame si far compared to how it looks on radar. I'll be curious to see what others have to say around here.

Ditto here. .29 so far. 69.3/66
