A COMBINATION OF DRIZZLE/FREEZING DRIZZLE ISPOSSIBLE...ALBEIT THE OUTCOME HANGS ON THE SFC TEMP UNDER WEAK NLYFLOW. IF ANY DRIZZLE/FREEZING DRIZZLE DEVELOPS IT WILL BE BRIEFAS SINKING AIR BEGINS TO INVADE THE REGION IN ASSOC WITH HIGHPRES.SECOND...BROAD BAROCLINIC ZONE WILL LIFT NEWD IN RESPONSE TO THEAPPROACHING SYSTEM FOR MON. AS SUCH SFC TEMPS WILL WARM. BUT THEREALSO REMAINS A FAVORABLE REGION FOR PRECIP DEVELOPMENT ACROSS THENERN AND ERN SHORES OF MA...ESPECIALLY WITH ONSHORE NELY FLOW ANDFAIRLY MOIST LOW LEVELS. SHOULD SEE A MIX OF SNOW/FREEZINGDRIZZLE/DRIZZLE IMPACT LOCATIONS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE SHORELINE.DUE TO THE ANTICIPATED BREVITY OF FREEZING DRIZZLE AND GRADUALLYWARMING TEMPS THRU THE DAY ABOVE FREEZING WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY NEWHEADLINES FOR THE NEAR-TERM BUT WILL CONTINUE EXISTING WINTERWEATHER ADVISORIES THIS MORNING.

great job by okx last night, they got it 100% right, had a few flakes then some drizzle light rain, lost about 1" of snow since yesterday at 5, days of continuous snowpack are over here. Front yard is over 50% bare, backyard in the shade has about 80% snow with a max depth of 6 inches in the corner in total shade.

It was a great run, and congrats to those of you who picked up snow, looks like everything will be washed away by tuesday morning, time to start winter cleanups and gear up for spring cleanups, one hell of a winter!!:snowman: :snowman: :snowman:

Burbank says all rain, no ice. This is interesting in his blog about Wednesday, though. Thoughts?

With some morning sunshine, it should easily warm up to at least 45 before clouds rush in leading to perhaps a squall line of rain and snow and possible lightning. There is a potent upper level short wave which will trigger this action associated with the large temperature change.
