    6.5” snow and now 1” of sleet so far. It’s heavy lifting trying to shovel this. Sitting at 14 degrees.

    I just cleared 1/2” sleet in the last hour. Very well might end with 3-4” of sleet here. Woof.

    Still 9 degrees here with sleet and snow needles and freezing fog. It’s nasty out there.

    9.5 degrees up here and dumping snow. Hope to stay snow for another 2-3hrs min with these rates i'd break 6". Sitting at 4-5" already.

    Good luck folks down there by DC. I hope it stays sleet and does not go to ZR. HRRR shows 3-4 hours of pretty heavy ZR accumulation to near .25"

    Got yellows over me and it’s barely snowing. Typical Hanover pa. Going to go back to bed for another 2hrs

    North crew is awake. 11 degrees, snowing and about 1" so far.

    The nams are just dry idk. If you look at the hour by hour panels looks like it’s rippin but it’s only like .3” qpf by 15z while euro and gfs are like more than double that.

    NWS obs don't report virga. SW WV stations reporting light snow. Eastern KY moderate.

    Thermals could be right, but also doesn't matter if it is not modeling the storm correctly or qpf. It is significantly drier than all the other models and the other ones are getting wetter each run.

    There is snow breaking out in eastern KY to SW WV on NWS observation stations. Nam doesn't have snow there for another 4 hours. lol

    Nam at hour 12 shifted the sleet/snow line like 75 miles south in one run. From there I don't really care what it shows lol.

    People wont have to worry about an electric bill when their power is out for over a week. lol

    Geez local storm reports coming out of NW Louisiana with .75" ZR accumulation already. They are in trouble.

    Hope Nashville stays snow as long as possible. 19 there with moderate snow.

    If there is snow and sleet then ice they usually keep the winter storm warning. Ice storm warnings usually just for freezing rain.

    Yup. Most interesting storm in years, not just some northern stream 1-3” 6hr storm.
