    As I mentioned earlier with a complex set up like this one ens will take some time to catch up if the op is onto the right idea. Maybe by tomorrow night or Monday. We seen ensembles show 6”+ for a day 5 storm before and it resulted in nothing. Last year prime example.

    For a complex setup like this won’t start seeing a mean increase till we get closer if the op continues to show it.

    What I haven’t seen a a while is a rain to snow storm. Would be interesting. I remember one of these back when I was in middle school like 20 plus years ago lol. Was raining at school then turned to a 6” snow storm.

    Or meeting in the middle. Euro still needs to trend more to the gfs too. I’d be fine with this solution.

    Ya I see. It’s fine it’s just not the 12z look. Just don’t want it to keep trending towards that north move need to hold or dig more.

    Think it kinda looks more like 12z euro here low will probably be more north.

    Doesn’t look like it will be as good. The sw energy that dives in from the lakes is shallower. Doesn’t dig as much.

    Ya so far not much change. Energy might be shifted a tiny bit sw overall.

    Icon is a garbage model so it could show a 100” storm at 24 hours and I’d toss

    Main take is euro made a pretty big move toward a gfs like solution. Onto 18z

    Idk about you all but I’m cracking open a beer for 18z happy hour.

    Just need the sw to dig a bit more there. The lows a little too far nw. But I mean that was a big jump so gfs might have legs.
