  1. Might be first place for Greenfield. we had a lot of cloud interference with the earlier heat waves this summer.
  2. CMC also likes to give us lots of snow in the winter.
  3. It’s probably tough at his elevation. I’ve been driving my kid up to a theater camp in Heath the past 3 weeks. It is at 1400’ and I have yet to see the car thermo over 86° there. 1200’ and up seems to be that mark where it is almost impossible to break 90°. I don’t know what elevation Dave is at in Hubbardston though.
  4. Long range doesn't look like a lot of precipitation for SNE. Let's get that Sahara vibe rolling!
  5. The server has post size limitations. The easiest way is to select the picture from your library and then tap the little sliders on the bottom right and you’ll have three size options. You shouldn’t have to make it any smaller than medium to fit the size restrictions for the forum. Sometimes even large is OK.
  6. My eyes were burning, walking the dog this morning.
  7. Air is drying out now but warm nights with dank humidity create a very wonderful quietude outside the domicile. You can hear the subtle sounds of the local fauna. My favorite part of high heat summers is the night time, because that is the right time, to be outside with the dew point tide.
  8. I mean, I did read the whole post. While listening to Shannon Gunz Ozzy Tribute. I feel dirty, in a weather sort of way.
  9. Congrats, that’s double what I’ve gotten today.
  10. Agree but I think it is more a Worcester to Cape Cod deal.
  11. I’ve never experienced a summer in W MA with so little thunder. It’s actually the one thing we do best in New England and it has just been so benign.
  12. So far it’s been a fairly hot and humid summer but with enough mild downs to keep people sane. It certainly has not been an exciting summer and for the few that are expecting a major hurricane to hit SNE, good luck with that. I think the hurricane season is going to become Gulf Coast centered by September.
  13. Sorry to hear, best wishes to your family. His is a username that goes way back and it will be a void not to see his posts.
  14. My brother said a lot of flooding down on Hilton Head Island today.
  15. Ya' about 3 songs in he said "fuk this, it's too hot and humid.'
  16. Geezer and Tony Iommi were amazing at that show.
  17. What an amazing way to go out! That day was a fitting tribute to a hard rock icon.
  18. First concert that I was allowed to go to with just friends. We took the red line to the green line to the old Boston Garden. It was 1982 Bark at the Moon tour. Up and coming band called Mötley Crüe was the opening act.. I was 14 years old.
  19. He was simply amazing and there’s nobody else quite like him.
  20. 55/50 under clear skies. I like a quick cool down before the heat builds back in. Still 8 weeks of potential deep summer to go.
