    The odds of that happening must be super low. Hopefully we don’t make it 15 in a row because there’s a big music festival in Greenfield next weekend.

    EPS looked like we finally get into a longer stretch of average to above average summer temps, starting the middle of next week. Seems reasonable since that is heading into the solstice. Let's see if that holds though.

    May through October is the money stretch for breweries. That’s when they pay all the debts they accumulated in the winter. The closures are already happening. They will just accelerate. of course that doesn’t apply to breweries that are long established or have established, popular restaurants.

    Despite the cloudy, misty day, managed to get a group of graduating eighth graders, out on Harriman reservoir this afternoon.

    Yeah, I was thrilled for afternoon showers. Why would anyone want two dry days in a row?

    Lol. Unfortunately, it’s a full ride on mower.

    Is there a reason why my neighbor would be mowing his lawn every 2 to 3 days? He’s only 60 and retired so it could just boredom but maybe there is a good reason for mowing that frequently? i’m not going to ask him because I find it all a little annoying and he’ll probably detect that in my voice. edit: this is the same person, who will spend Sunny days in late February and early March, snowblowing snow from shady sections of the yard into sunny sections to melt it quicker.

    I will say, with regard to bug bites, I’ve never had a doctor that was super confident with what it might be, unless of course you actually saw or caught the perpetrator.

    Again, who knows but tick bites definitely tend to be a brighter red than that one. I’ve had and seen many over the years.

    I mean, lots of possibilities with that. If you’re worried check with your doctor. Also, make a paste with baking soda and vinegar and smear it on.

    Deer tick nymphs are pretty small. Could also be black fly bites.

    I can’t believe we got through a five hour outdoor wedding in Beverly last night without a drop of rain. Five hours of open bar with top shelf liquor!

    Nobody in New England is ever seeing 100° in the current weather paradigm.
