Yesterday was so much more fun than the blizzard. I went out and did a two hour hike with a friend of mine and it was +SN the entire time.

I’m going to say the BOX p/c is incorrect. Greenfield is currently under a WWA with no precipitation forecast for tomorrow night.

My front yard is one of the last yards in Greenfield with snow cover every year.

Most of my yard is currently 16”-18”

We’ve obviously had bigger storms this winter but yesterday was an ass kicker in terms of travel, cleanup, etc.

Over 6” here. I expected more of these events this winter. This is really the first snow to freezing rain we’ve had here this year.

I almost started crying right now looking at my driveway. 6” of dense with freezing rain coming down. Do I clear tonight or just wait until the morning? Don’t see any way there’s not a school delay in the morning. The street is an absolute skating rink. Deepest yard depth of the season tonight. 18”-20”.

I was a little annoyed at first, but the early school dismissal was definitely warranted. Greenfield has no plows or trucks out right now either.

Just pounding. Wife says close to 3 inches at home already! That’s over an inch in the past hour.

If we can keep this up for an hour, I should be able to hit 3 inches which will get me to my season average or a little over. Even though this storm isn’t a big deal it’s kind of fun and definitely helping the baseline of my winter grade. Also, roads are terrible already. Lol.
