    I actually have to have a beer in hand just to come in here lately. For the love of God, we need a region wide snowstorm, just to restore some sanity.

    WTF? 40s all around me and my neighborhood is mid 30s. The cold air just wedges between the hills behind us and the Green River just to my east. I really just want to get rid of the ice in my driveway.

    Two hour school delay here today. Pretty good coating of ice on everything. It’s actually snowing currently. 31°.

    It’s been a very wintery winter, just not memorable so far.

    It’s kind of bizarre, it’s only 19° here but we have what seem like wet March flakes falling straight down right now. Seems to be graupel mixed in(?) because they are loud hitting the car and evergreens.

    Greenfield salted a few main roads and that was it. I will say, a lot of the streets were pretty slick tonight.

    It’s a little bit annoying because these regularly scheduled .5” - 1” events are way too light to clear, so they just keep getting walked on and driven on to add to the driveway glacier.

    It’s been light snow here for the past half hour with a coating but Snow growth just got much better the past few minutes.

    The edges will get punked up by the late week rain and warmth, but should still be plenty of ice once we refreeze. People have been ice fishing in Franklin County for weeks.

    Same thing happened at our house. Wife was sick as a dog for a few days and the boy and I didn’t catch it.

    Yeah, at least the main streets. Secondary streets are a longer wait. The plowing hair is generally quite good. It’s just that they wait until there’s “real snow”

    Greenfield DPW has an unwritten rule where the plows don’t come out or anything under 2 inches.
