It’s going around all of the schools.
Wife and kid had it and I’ve somehow been able to avoid it even in a small house. Beer and long, brisk dog walks in the cold night air maybe saved me.
Today is kind of raw crap with the overcast. I was expecting a sunny day.
I get out in the weather a few times a day, the dog certainly aids that endeavor, it's been a cold December. Still 75% snow cover of at least 3" here and it hasn't snowed in two weeks.
Luckily, very little snow in Franklin County today so everything should be like glass after the rain.
Folks are out on the ice fishing everywhere. I’m might walk out on Barton Cove tomorrow with the chisel to see how much ice there is. Guessing it’s probably 4 to 6 inches. There’s already a few pop-up shanties set up out there.
As we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know.
After an hour or two of dim sun actually steady light snow for the past half hour.
It’s coming from the north though so not sure it’s association with our storm.
Just a heavy coating today though, which is what I expected.
Yeah, it’s still wall-to-wall snow pack here. I drove to Chelmsford yesterday and noticed a sharp cut off in snow past Fitchburg. Let me know next time you’re coming through so we can meet for a beer.
