    Definitely some dry air to fight through. Currently 23/16 at mi casa. Counting on that initial burst to drop an inch here.

    I don’t know, I’m somewhere in your age bracket and I still let it frustrate me sometimes. It’s pretty much why I stopped watching sports, because I feel ridiculous tensing up and yelling at the TV.

    I try not to let it get to me, but it’s been a little bit maddening. My last accumulating snow was almost 3 weeks ago yet it’s been plenty cold and I still need to heat the house.

    If there is a general 1”-2” across most of SNE folks should count their blessings. At least it will look festive and maybe we can cash in over the next 10 days after that.

    That would be zero accumulation for much of MA. .05” qpf spread over 8 hours.

    It's just been some bad luck. Similar here but I've cashed in slightly more than you on a few more of the moderate systems the past 5 years. Greenfield has been below it's average snowfall overall though for several years.

    Those totals will shift around a bunch this week but good to see something on most models.

    We are just a few miles from big increases in snow totals. However, the lack of housing inventory and liking where we currently live, make it hard to think about moving just for snow. Sometimes, it is a little maddening to know, that it is probably a 60 minute hike, to better snow totals in winter and cooler temps in summer.

    I'm not super concerned with our snow chances, just might not be any big storms for now.

    Active pattern but SNE definitely playing with temp issues the next 10 days. Hoping we can at least get a redeveloping clipper in the next two weeks. I think inland areas are good for a light 1-3" next week. I admit it's been a bit dissapointing starting the month with a warning snowfall and still being stuck at 6.5" but definitely a workable pattern if things break right.

    Front yard still has snow, woods, out back were decimated though.
