  1. Sitting on a friends porch in the shade and the wind definitely helps a little. Maybe I’m wrong but yesterday seemed more humid?
  2. Greenfield is around .60” for the week then Deerfield, one town south is Stein.
  3. Oh, it’s been breezy here since noon. I mean, it’s not like it’s bringing that much relief. Downtown Greenfield is close to 100° now.
  4. Yeah, Greenfield has sort of peaked out around 96 - 98. My house has a high of 95° so far but downtown 97°. It’s been very breezy so that might have something to do with it. Even though it is hot as hell, I’m sure there’s probably a few posters who are angered by the wind because it has not allowed us to achieve ultimate peak heat indexes.
  5. It’s like the scene in Close Encounters, at the farm house, when “they” take Barry.
  6. Severe aspect was not impressive, but it may have been the single greatest light show I’ve ever seen.
  7. What a light show! Just nonstop cloud to cloud lightning. A few good gas so far, lots of rolling thunder
  8. Well, I guess I’ll stay up another half hour to see how this line plays out.
  9. The rain the past two days has definitely helped pump up the humidity levels.
  10. Tropical downpour in Greenfield right now. Way heavier than radar indicated so I imagine the pretty colors south of us are getting hammered.
  11. It’s a pretty interesting weather week. I’m all in for whatever. Raining again now, but that’s only gonna pump the humidity for the rest of the week!
  12. .25” at my house, which is perfect for the gardens. I was actually expecting to get Steined all week.
  13. Hi of 82° today. I was expecting close to 90°. The sun never came back out in Greenfield after about 11am. Had a nice drink of rain around 4 PM.
  14. I will be super impressed if a location out near Montauk can put up 101°.

  16. I’m just watering gardens. Gave up on the lawn in the early innings this year.
  17. Lawns are going to crisp up nicely. Not seeing any widespread precipitation in our future.
