    Is that the expected snow amount map, or the high end 10% chance map? Seems to match the Mt. Holly high end map that is about 10% chance.

    Not sure what shadowing is. But our hunting cabin is about 15 minutes west of there. And they get alot of snow.

    I'm thinking maybe Roscoe, NY. 116 mile drive from Central Park. Not alot of things to do there though this time of year. The Roscoe Diner is very good though. Lol

    Mine for NW New Jersey says the same thing. At this early point, I would pay no attention to snow accumulation forecasts like this.

    Everything we are commenting on will change by Saturday 0Z run. It will. Not saying it will change to a snowier solution. But it will change. So sit back. Relax. Don't throw up the white flag, or call for a blizzard run to run. Give it 2 days.

    I would bet if you went out on the street, and questioned 100 people the difference between a WWA and a WSW, over 90% would say an advisory means we may get snow, and a warning means we're definitely getting snow.

    Currently 69° here. High of 72° briefly. Average high for here is 66° Average low is 42°. So yes. Slightly above average. Record for the date is 84 in 2007. Record low is 23 in 1968.

    Here in Veron, NJ, right at Canistear Reservoir, I do not have an official rain gauge. Just a 5 gallon pail out in the open. It's slightly tapered on the top, so it is not an accurate measurement. I just measured. 3.7" in bucket. So, maybe only 3"?

    Practically a 0% chance anywhere in the Catskills or anywhere in our region sees that much rain. Or even close to that much rain.

    1" by me. I can confirm 1" in Stockholm because I am here at the deli. It has changed to rain here. Highways are fine. Canistear rd slushy and slippery.
