It's been high and dry here in Vernon. Just blew off all the leaves from front, which I did yesterday, but you wouldn't have known it this morning. Starting to get some light drizzle now. Getting darker to my south. 55°

Please, no power outages up here tonight. If it wasn't a work night, I really wouldn't care. What areas of Sussex county are out already?

That map is definitely wrong. It shows 8-10 where I live, in reality it was 4-5".

Completely normal for mid March to late April. That's why you dont plant tomatoes here till May 15th here.

Got 4" here so far. Had some melting down to about 2". Had a sleety rain from about 11am to 5pm. Then had moderate snow from 6pm till now. Currently snow falling. 33.6° Sticking only on vehicles.

Not too many years ago. On Memorial Day weekend. From an ULL it was 33 degrees and raining. No snow or ice, but 33°. End of May.

They just came by the 5th time. Overkill for 1" of snow? All I can figure is it's not accumulating as much down in the valley? Cause if it was , that would be their main priority. IDK?

Props to the Vernon, NJ. DPW. They have passed my house plowing and salting 3 times in the last hour. Just saw them again. Make that 4 times.

Agree. I like to give the most accurate, non inflated measurement as possible. Wind makes it very difficult.
