  1. Rain/snow mix here. Nothing steady. More like showers.
  2. I hope so for you guys. But I just ain't confident Ant. The wave at this point may not even materialize as currently modeled.
  3. With rain and no current snow cover with temps in 50's tomorrow, rain with temps 60 or low 60's Tuesday, unfrozen ground, heat island effect, and marginal temps, the city proper will be lucky to see a car topper at the end. I could be wrong? But, I doubt it.
  4. That's because most of their excuses for delays and cancellations are BS.
  5. Subaru's are great till the heads start leaking. Then before long, it's on to the big scrap yard in the sky. I've owned one 20 years ago, and own one today. Just saying...
  6. Join the club. Lack of heavy snowfall should be your least of concern about hating living in New Jersey. And I live in a spot in NJ that gets alot of snow.
  7. At the moment, all precip has stopped. Received .6" snow /sleet. Temp is up to 28°
  8. Switched over to all snow here. Took about 5 minutes and everything is white.
  9. Moderate snow now falling. Everything is white already. 25°
  10. After a little lull up here on the mountain, we had about 1/2 hr of freezing rain. Now all sleet and starting to change to snow.
  11. Yup. No snow here. Very light Frz rain and sleet. 24°
  12. Winter Storm Watch issued for me. NWS not elaborating on totals. But, say light snow and ice accumulation Sunday and Sunday night, heavy snow accumulations Monday into Monday evening.
  13. Does anyone know what the surface temps here in NE Sussex county NJ will be for the duration of this event? Snow wise it's really not a big deal whether we get 4-6" or 8-12". That's handled no problem. I'm just concerned about if we get alot of ice accretion.
  14. I'm not a met, and don't do forecasts. Just posting what he said on Twitter, 15 minutes ago.
  15. JB just said upper level low is going south of PA., and temps will be 5-7 degrees cooler than last weekend. He expects snow and ice down to Mason/Dixon line. Heaviest amounts north of I78/80. Upwards of 15" north Jersey and north.
  16. Winter 2012-2013 was a good year here. Received 67" of snow that year. That's what I measured. I'm sure the total was probably a bit higher, but I work down below, so I'm not home all the time.
