  1. Could you 'smell' the air? Was everything else stale? Have you been a bad boy? Be careful! You don't want the Langoliers to get you!
  2. Well, actually got white here last night! LOL, just enough to measure. 12/11 0.5 01/08 3.0 02/09 0.2 Total: 3.7
  3. Two of the parts you enjoy I don't lol! That and fighting the crowds and TSA just makes flying a necessary evil in my book. Once on and up in air I turn the music on and look out the window at the countryside passing underneath if possible, or try to nap if cloudy. Last three times I've returned from west I've done red eyes and slept, best way to fly IMO.
  4. Hope not, he was super pumped to be headed out there! I try to fly direct, and IF I have to make connections I won't do less than 90 minutes just to be on the safe side..... Actually, you fly direct 'cuz you hate to fly, don't lie Fred! lol
  5. I was out a couple days. Wishing your sister a speedy and full recovery mappy. Those calls are never what you want to hear/happen. Super glad it wasn't worse, and from the car pic it easily could have been.
  6. OUCH! That is TIGHT! Hope you made it!
  7. But maybe snow? Why not? It has been super wacky the past two years.
  8. Nothing like up in NVA or MD, but did set a new daily rainfall with 1.62 inches, broke old mark of 1.07 from 2004. Hope all are OK up that way!! Actually have a few flakes falling and down into upper 30's. I went from 53.5 to 40.4 in less than 90 minutes early this am.
  9. Shattered the warm minimum here, low was 50.6, old record was 39, YES 39! from 1986. Only a 11 degree change.......records go back to Oct 1979.
  10. So...it's not for kids. Right?
  11. Travel hockey was the same when son was playing.....
  12. So you'd like 60-70 in summer and around 0 in winter with snow? May I suggest Summit County CO???? If it hits 75-80 they go into full blown panic there!
  13. Nothing says winter better than going to bed at 1 am to 44 degrees and waking up at 5:30 to 56 degrees........ sheesh.
  14. January 2020 number my location Total liquid for the month was 3.44 inches vs a normal of 2.77 inches, a +0.67 above average. 15. I'll second Bob's picks. I go there 30-40 days a year now. It is an awesome (but sadly crowded) place. DEFINITELY do the snowmobiling, I highly recommend!! Stay in Dillion or Silverthorne, places are cheaper than Breck. You can get around in a car, but traffic in ski season isn't fun. They have free buses that run 6am-11pm county wide. Most run on a 15 or 30 minute schedule if you don't wish to drive. The pass over 6 is as he describes, beautiful. Copper can be a pain to get to, they are right off 70 and I have seen both off lanes backed up onto 70 with people trying to get in during the AM. Keystone and Breck have a nice mix of runs, if you are a good skier Abasin can provide some fun and challenging runs.

  18. Had snizzle and flurries off and on most of morning and early afternoon, never did more than coat hard surfaces though.
  19. But, but I can't. I got on the other side of the wall in Dec 2018! But 2016/2017 and 2019/2020 (so far) have been stinkers! 2016/2017 6.4 2017/2018 21.5 2018/2019 35.2 2019/2020 3.5 historical avg is 27.6 inches
  20. WWA issued for my area for late tonight into morning for a mix of junk. Maybe we can get the ground white......
