  1. Go to this link and click on the camera west of I83 at the MD/PA border just north of Manchester. That's what's falling here. https://chart.maryland.gov/InteractiveMap/GetInteractiveMap
  2. If you get under what's falling here, they will. Between the warmer ground and peaked sun, it's just a little harder. Another thing is that most places now treat the roads with more efficient melting chemicals, so they really aren't the roads of yore.
  3. Sky is darkening Euro says my .5" rises to 2.5: at 4pm and 5" at 7pm, with maybe a .1" more before it ends. We'll see about that.
  4. We need that slp to get cracking to pull in the cold. I think that's begun.
  5. Your Springs down to 30 and 28 and 29 in Mt. Holly Springs. On its way south.
  6. Picking up here fast after 10 minutes of lighter stuff.
  7. We had about 10 minutes of light stuff, but it's picking back up.
  8. This is Euro as of 1pm. Pretty close to correct here actually. Winds picking up from the N/NW. Should see temps dropping soon.
  9. My forecast for mby yesterday was 3-5" and I'm sticking with it.
  10. As usual, Pivotal not as generous with snow totals.
  11. Until 2pm when, like the Gfs, it'll change with the new run.
  12. Sky briefly brightened, now dark again with heavy snow returning. Everything caved here and that's after them treating the roads.
  13. With all the threats on them, neither the Gfs nor Gem give us any hits. Sob's
  14. Omg! Yes! Hey, I am not far from there and was doing my daily walk and 7 deer were in the neighborhood as I turned a corner. I froze and 2 of them came right at me. I went over to a tree figuring they wouldn't come near me but they came close and ran between a house and it's bushes planted at most 2 feet from the foundation. Then as I finished my walk, 3 of them came tearing down my street, through an intersection (no cars thankfully) headed for woods not that far away. Crazy.
  15. Oh, I hope so. Remember, I'm retired and don't have a life.
  16. The sun's rays are stronger because we just peaked the solar cycle this year and it was incredibly more active than usual. Remember the Northern lights? First time I ever saw them. We're headed back down to a minimum in 12 years, give or take. https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/solar-cycle-progression
  17. I wish PA had a camera map like this one in MD. There's one real close to you Bubbler. https://chart.maryland.gov/InteractiveMap/GetInteractiveMap
  18. Yep. Once we get a drop of another degree or 2, it'll really start to pile up.
  19. Mod to heavy'ish now. Starting to get accumulations on ground and roofs. No idea of exact temp except to say it's cold enough to snow!
  20. SuddeSuddenly coming dowb hard. Very little stickage before this stuff.
