I have a difficult time finding the right word to use to describe today's majestic weather.

When we start getting more humid days, that’ll be a hint. Most of the time, the last few years have felt like living in the Great Plains.

The sun has somehow begun to periodically find its way through the cloud factory of Frederick’s valley.

It's been a thing the last 3 years...may have started in Spring '22 (winter didn't want to leave) and especially Spring '23 when we had to deal with wildfire smoke from Canada. Too much nw flow and a lack of storms originating out of the gulf leaves us with mostly leftover clouds and a breeze. I'm ready for swamp weather. Otherwise, I'd rather just live out west lol.

The biting flies of Frederick are out, too. Still cloudy, so really not that warm out.

The amount of wind lately is officially getting weird.

I think we're finally turning the corner to nicer weather. Hiked the Black Locust Trail yesterday with my cousin...definitely some wind flowing around up there.

There's been a couple other days I've noticed them, but recently I've noticed more queen bees and certainly there were more flies around. I think I even got bit up a bit today. Spring is starting to make its presence felt.

Today’s weather has been legendary status by April standards. Pollen is excited about it, too.

Yea, today has started off high level. Taking a floating holiday today, so I'm ok with the current satellite loop.

It did feel a little more mild than I expected. Was shooting hoops earlier and had to remove the hoodie.

I'm just glad we're actually getting sun today. It seems like something that happens around 40% of the time now. We gotta get back to having a more active southern stream.
